The Sunsetter float is about 3.3 miles along our beautiful Memphis riverfront. We will plan to meet at Wolf River ramp at the NORTH end of Harbor town in Greenbelt Park on Mud Island.  Depending on the weather conditions and water level on the river, the float should last between 30 min -1 hour. 

We will meet at 5:30 pm and will start the shuttle no later than 5:45 pm. Put in at 6:15.  The sun is supposed to set around 6:45 pm.

Afterwards we will meet at “TUGS” in Harbor town for food and drinks. So come join us and enjoy a sunset on the river.  Click on the map below for directions.

In addition to the normal safety gear you will need a 360 degree white light as we will be on the water after sunset. The light can be as simple as taping an opaque white plastic cup to the end of a flashlight, preferably waterproof. Then attaching the light to a stick which is attached to your boat. A headlamp would be a good idea also.   You might want to consider bring some bug spray.  The mosquitoes can be annoying in the harbor.
