About this event
Come one, come all. Join us for some paddling fun on the Jack’s Fork of the Current River in part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways system.
Come on out and enjoy the fall colors, the local wildlife, and the good camaraderie.
This trip is enjoyed by newcomers, old timers, and 3-4 generations on this fun-filled fall getaway.
Saturday Float Plan
Paddle 6-7 miles from Alley Spring Campground to just past the bridge in Eminence, MO. Time on the water will be about 3-5 hours. Meetup at the put-in at 9:00 am Saturday. Bring snacks and lunch and necessary outdoor gear for a fun day on the river.

Take-out - Josua T. Chilton Memorial Landing
Backup plans - If the River Access in the campground is not usable we will move to the River Access in the picnic area across Hwy 106. If parking and access at to the take-out is unavailable, we will paddle a nearby section of the Current River.
Several BCCC members have reserved campsites in loop 600 (electric) of Alley Springs Campground for several days prior to this paddle. Other, impromptu paddling in the area may result.
This float is within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways System and is governed by their Laws and Policies

Socializing after the Saturday Paddle
BCCC members and friends will gather for a campfire and potluck Saturday evening at 5:30 pm at Alley Spring Campground Loop 600. Plan to join the group for a roaring good time of fellowship. Bring a chair and something to share.

Don't miss touring the 100-year old grist mill at Alley Spring.
Explore the area, take in the fall colors, the local wildlife and the good camaraderie on this long-standing BCCC getaway. Devils Well and the Cave Spring Trail is a good choice for a hike.
