Hi Igor,
I didn't get 3 people to commit, so no we didn't go. It was suggested rather late notice though.
I made the same suggestion for Saturday morning, Sept 26th. 3 people committing (including me) will make it happen. Haven't gotten responses yet.

Are there any others interested in kayaking Poplar Tree Lake in Shelby Forest tomorrow (Sat 9/12) morning? Meet at the kayak rental kiosk at 8:30 am. Put in is right there too. I'll say if there are 3 of us or more, let's do it.

Great Francisco. Alvin, would you be game for this Saturday morning at Shelby Forest?
Maybe 8:30 instead of 9 both for better chances at renting a kayak and because it's been so beautiful in the morning lately.

Hello,
I'm looking for a friend or two or three to do some kayaking on a weekend morning at Poplar Tree Lake in Shelby Forest. My focus on there and then is that I don't have a kayak and one can rent a kayak for $10/ hr at Poplar Tree Lake. Open from 7-3 pm and first come first serve. I suggest meeting at the Lake at 9:00 am on Sat or Sun. (note kayak availability not guaranteed)
Open to which weekend(s), but not this coming Labor Day weekend.
