Basic First Aid Kit

 

This is a suggested List and Guide of Needed Items

• 2 absorbent compress dressings (5 x 9 inches)
• 1 bx. adhesive bandages (assorted sizes)
• 1 bx. butterfly bandages/adhesive wound-closure strips
• 1 adhesive cloth tape (10 yards x 1 inch)
• 4 sterile eye dressings
• 1 space blanket 
• 1 CPR Mask (with one-way valve)
• 1 instant cold compress
• 2 Elastic Bandages (3-4 inches wide)
• 4 roller bandage (4 inches wide)
• 4 nonstick sterile pads
• 4 sterile gauze pads (3 x 3 inches)
• 4 sterile gauze pads (4 x 4 inches)
• 2 triangular bandages
• 1 SAM splint
• 1 pair Scissors (Bandage or Trauma Shears)
• 1 pair Tweezers
• 1 bx. antiseptic wipe packets
• 1 btl. eye wash

   

  This is a List of Highly Suggested Items

• 1 pkg. cotton-tipped swabs
• 1 pkg. safety pins
• 2 pairs of nonlatex gloves (your size)
• 4 antibiotic ointment (approximately 1 gram packet)
• 1 btl. aspirin (81 mg )
• 2 Hydrocortisone ointment (approximately 1 gram packet)
• 1 btl. Calamine lotion
• 1 btl. Antihistamine tablets
• 1 btl. Ibuprofen  (or other pain-relief medication)
• 1 btl. hand sanitizer waterless
• Plastic Zip Lock Bags (various sizes)
