Three days of paddling on the Current River. The nightly base campground may change from the Flying W Store & Campground to the Eminence Cottages and Camp.

The Current River is the most spring-fed of all the Ozark rivers. As a result, the Current may be floated almost anytime of the year, particularly below Welch Spring.

Difficulty Level I. occasionally II. Suitable for all skill levels.

Points of Interest This section of the Current River above Akers Ferry includes :

Welch Springs Hospital Ruins. - The hospital was built in 1913 by C.H. Diehl and once offered healing waters.
Devils Well - A sinkhole cave containing the largest underground lake in Missouri.
